Cryptocurrencies are gaining ground in France
Cryptocurrencies are increasingly accepted as a method of payment in France. According to an article published by Lyzi, there are more than 20 companies that accept crypto payments spread across almost every industry.
From tech companies like Microsoft to restaurants like Pizza Hut to the airline industry with Cheap Air, cryptocurrency payment options are growing. And that now includes shopping malls, as the Beaugrenelle Center became the first to accept digital assets in June 2022.
Despite the skepticism of politicians in France, crypto-currencies continue to grow at an astonishing rate. According to a study by ADAN conducted with KPMG, 8% of French people have already invested in cryptocurrencies, and 30% of respondents would be willing to do so in the coming years. If these figures are true, then there would be more crypto investors in France than people investing in the stock market. According to the latest AMF report, only 10% of French people own stocks directly or through funds.
Cryptocurrencies are gaining popularity in France, more and more French people are willing to invest in these new technologies. Cryptos are becoming a must-have market and it won’t be long before they overwhelm the hexagon. It is therefore important to stay informed and to follow the trends of this constantly evolving market.
